Creature Concept: Water Humanoid
A creature concept of a humanoid creature.
I started off with exploring different sea creatures and aquatic plants and develop from that different concept sketches. I found this tricky but quite interesting to explore. It might not be the most successful concept design but want to go out of my comfort zone as much as I can and push my concept ideas further.

All three concepts put into a single presentation. Had fun thinking of colour variations.
The third concept idea and the last one. Found this tricky, had to push my imagination further in terms of ideas. My idea here was about a humanoid that attracts victims with the shining crystal and uses its tentacles to suffocates them.
The second chosen concept. Heavily inspired by the leafy sea dragon and the coral reef snake with my twist in it.
Idea here: protector of the sea life and all species; looking evil at first sight but just for warning sign, it's actually very peaceful.
The first chosen concept from the sketches I decided to approach with colour. Idea here: a blind water humanoid living in the deepest parts of the ocean, using her fins on the legs to swim faster and attack.
